As most of you, who read this blog, already know, I REALLY love caps. I saw this cat going into the first show of the day. It's a old school snapback of the Houston Rockets Hall-of-famer Hakeem Olajuwon. So dope.








This was the first band of the day, LADYHEAT. Very good, indie rock, with a QUEEN theatricality. I bought buttons from them.







This band was called Skeyptocynic. They were a really good, riffy band. The lead singer had a charismatic voice. Check them out if you get a chance.



This solo-man band is Sings. He was definitely an interesting character...

SOOOOOOO... I figured, it was taking too long for me to post the West Fest stuff, so I am going to post this, and as I get the photos developed, then that is what I will post.

I HAVE TO ADMIT.....WHEN DREAM FIRST CAME OUT WITH THIS I WAS DEFINITELY WAS NOT FEELING IT....LAST YEAR FOR SPRING BREAK ME AND MY BOY T-HYDE TOOK A TRIP DOWN TO THE N.O. FOR SOME FUN. AS WE HEADED BACK ON THE ROAD TO COME BACK TO HOUSTON, HE ASKED ME IF I LISTENED TO THE-DREAM...I WAS LIKE "HE'S OK...I'VE JUST NEVER LISTENED". HE POPS IN THE FIRST ALBUM "LOVE HATE"...AND HE IMMEDIATELY SKIPS TO NUMBER 3 AND I WAS LIKE "MAN WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT GOES HARD...TURN THAT SHIT UP!!!!!!!!!!

AFTER "FAST CAR" HE SKIPPED TO THE BEST DREAM SONG EVER WROTE

GRIFFIN X BARACUTA G9 JACKET

Once again Griffin and Baracuta get together to work on the classic G9 jacket. This time around the jacket comes reversible with a beige side with tonal embroidery details and a desert camouflage DPM lining. This is the fourth collaboration between the two British labels.

ASTON MARTIN DBS VOLANTE

Aston Martin has revealed the first details and photos of their new top-of-the-line offering, the 2009 DBS Volante. Set to premiere at next week’s Geneva Auto Salon, this is only the 16th open-air sports car to be produced by the British automaker in its 95 years of history.

At the touch of a button, the DBS Volante’s retractable fabric roof opens and stows neatly beneath the newly sculpted tonneau in just 14 seconds, while cruising at speeds of up to 30 mph (48km/h).

Underneath its lightweight carbon fiber bonnet, a 6-liter V12 pushing out some 512 bhp brings the car to its top speed of 191 mph (307 km/h) and to a speed of 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.3 seconds. The Volante also gets the standard DBS rear-mounted six-speed manual gearbox as well as carbon ceramic brakes for exceptional stopping power.

Inside this four-seater two-door convertible, passengers will get to enjoy uncompromised comfort with the top up or down, especially with Bang and Olufsen’s 13-speaker BeoSound DBS in-car entertainment system, designed to compensate for additional wind noise.

Each car will be individually assembled at the company’s global headquarters before being shipped out in autumn 2009. Prices will be available upon its official debut in Geneva.
